My Phan is the technical director for Hewlett Packard's Systems Networking Solutions Lab. He is managing the IPv6 program within HP. He is also responsible for HP's trend setting customers and engagement of new technology trends. Prior to this assignment, he was the manager of the Hewlett Packard Government Technology Lab providing HP products and solutions to the US Federal Government for 9 years. He was also with the HP Specials and Consulting Group for 8 years responsible for expedited networking development for HP's major accounts. He has been with HP for 20 years and started as a software development engineer in the SNA networking lab. He received BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from University of Iowa in 1979 and 1980, respectively.
