Michael P. Brig is a scientist at SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston (SSCC) where his current interests are in M&S, wargaming, communications, and the NGI deployment. He grew up in Orlando, FL and attended the University of Central Florida (UCF). He received BSEE, MSEE, and MSCS degrees from UCF. He worked for twelve years in the Orlando defense aerospace industry, principally for corporations, which are now components of Lockheed Martin. He accepted his current position at SSCC in 1996. He is an Engineering Duty Officer (EDO) in the United States Naval Reserve where he has served for the last nine years. He is married and has three children.
