Cyndi Jung is a researcher in the Technology Development Center of 3Com
Corporation. Prior to joining the corporate research group, Cyndi was the
protocol architect for 3Com's Network Systems Division, where she directed
the development of several new protocols over a period of 13 years,
including OSPF, OSI protocols (IS-IS, CLNP, TP4, Basic Session Layer,
Presentation, Association Control, ISO-VTP, FTAM, X.500), NLSP (Netware
Link Services Protocol) and Integrated IS-IS. She concerns herself now
with the emerging next generation Internet protocol, IP version 6.
Cyndi has an MA in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology. |
